When women say they want to feel safe and secure they're usually talking about a man who's strong and capable enough of protecting her and standing up to her. They're not talking about a man who's always nice to her and tells her what she wants to hear. They don't want to the kind of safety you would feel around children and pets, they want protection from a strong competent man
