Lxqt is lighter l, faster, prettier but xfce is more stable and just werks. However, you can complile a gentoo and the idle ram usage would like 20mb

I3-1000G1 4 3.40G. But because use is just browser, spreadsheet and spotify might as well keep it light. For longer battery, longer cpu life and to keep it cool
