Propaganda for pushing municipal reforms. Goal of this general is to push for cities where

>proper greenary, promotion of local breeds of plants and trees to improve aesthetics of the cities
>public parks and gyms
>dedicated marketplace instead of unorganized hawkers
>PM Gulag yojana against those who occupy sidewalks, destroy public infra.

>Complete anhilation of slums and replacing those with commie block like few of the works under PM Awas Yojana.
More ideas are welcome. We will look back at history and the present and plan for the future. We need the autist power to demolish dehatis and make our cities best and beautiful as the God intended.

Found this gem from the past, 2000, when Atal bihari government.
When the proposed the golden quadrilateral highway network, these guys were opposing that too.
>It is called the golden quadrilateral and is the latest dream that the Government is trying to sell to the people of India. A 6,000-km-long highway that will link our four major cities, will have four lanes if not six and will be ready in three years.
>When the surface transport minister unveiled the project last week he described it as a dream project of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He was speaking not just of the Golden Quadrilateral, which sounds more like a speechwriter's idea of roads, but also of a 7,000-km corridor that will link India from north to south and east to west.
>The minister's own dream is to be chief minister of Uttar Pradesh so he has spent little time studying the business of roads. Or he would have described the prime minister's dream as a hoax. These thousands of kilometres of roads are, in fact, imaginary highways.
These guys constantly demean indians, dehumanize by comparing with likes of china but don't forget that they have actively played role in blocking every attempt to improve things.
Earlier it was highways, then expressways then HSRs.

Indian cities need more BRTs and Metro lite
Anonymous

People have habit of reluctant to change and crib, they will oppose metro, hsr etc. etc. and use even the slightest bad experience to declare entire projects as failure.
But once the projects are completed, they start running amok trying to apply the same everywhere.
Delhi metro network was one such example, it was termed as travel for 'premium' class so on. Now every second city wants it. RRTS too to an extent but thankfully mostly limited to bigger cities.
One thing is lack of foresight, other is politics and just being the bad faith elements.
Now coming to all of this, my focus is on the metro network. Most of the cities need public ac buses, dedicated routes, proper bus stands and slightly bigger cities are more suited for metro lite network.
Most cities don't even have basic bus stand, it's crumbling or eating dirt. I have been travelling a bit in northern parts of the india, it's hilarious how bad the bus stands are. Covered in dirt, broken stands, rusting iron, in general not suitable for anyone let alone the timings etc. for routes of the buses and their status.
Chennai is probably one of the good examples of decent bus infra, ahmedabad has BRTs which should be expanded further.
So yes, people need to push for better bus services, stands, dedicated app to track the buses. And if they want something more than that, shill for metro lites.
People have habit of reluctant to change and crib, they will oppose metro, hsr etc. etc. and use even the slightest bad experience to declare entire projects as failure.

Title is a bit generalized but look at everyone soyfacing at the pics, even i would too. This is possible in every city of india. We just need to make it feasible for private industries to work with the government bodies.
People are full into 'privatize' but i disagree. The model created by smart city, where every city was like a SPV with a ceo etc. which can then contract out work to private bodies who are good can do wonders. It's more efficient than the current state of municipal bodies atleast. Corporatization of the cities should happen. You can involve private companies at one end of the management while other end will have public sector.
Obviously scams by mla relatives etc. can happen. But better than whatever haphazard way it is now, more standardization.
Most of the socities by private bodies are well managed, greenary, parking, markings, signage etc.

India needs mission 5000km High Speed Railway by 2035
Anonymous
loc-IN
ruyac1brube.png
China's first true HSR route was of 174km length, constructed in 2008. It took 3 years for them.
Then between 2008 to 2015, they added total 19,000km of hsr lines at the rate of 1000km/year to more than 3000km per year.
>2008 → Beijing–Tianjin (117 km) opened, first true HSR line.
>2008–2015 → The “golden rush.” Annual additions went from ~1,000 km/year to >3,000 km/year.
>2010 → China had ~8,400 km.
>2015 → Over 19,000 km.
>2019 → ~35,000 km.
>2023 → ~43,000 km.
They didn't stop in 2015, in next 8 years they went on to add 14,000km more of hsr line. Almost 2000km / year annual addition.
Our first hsr line, Ahmedabad to Mumbai is of length 500km going through one of the most challenging areas all elevated properly began in 2021 and most of the civil infra and electric infra will be completed by 2028.
Time is ripe now, we should prepare country for 5000km HSR line by 2035. It will be completely change the landscape of the country
>entire india less than 10hrs away.
>massive infra building providing gorillions of jaabs
>massive cement, steel consumption leading to further gdp increase
>by 2035 we will be almost 7000pci to 8000pci.
It will be perfect time, you can only build infra when you are growing we have peak manpower, developing economy right now. This is the best time for HSR.
Instead of elevated we can have fenced tracks, vande bharat trainsets which are around 280kmph at peak with successive iterations of BEML vande bharat with aluminum coaches, tilting tech all standard gauge reaching upto 320kmph eventually.
Specific routes can have japanese trainsets if they want but most sections should be like above. For the rest of the railway tracks, let them be upgraded till 160kmph to 180kmph, let them be used by current sleeper ac vande bharat trainsets etc. Legacy trains.

> A total of 16 pedestrian underpasses (1 every 500 metres) between Priyadarshini Park and Worli provide access to the promenade.[25] The BMC proposes to build gardens and parks, a cycling and jogging track, public toilets, an open auditorium, a butterfly park and other recreation spaces.

# JDA Master Plan 2025 for Jaipur: The Layman's Guide to Making (and Losing) Money
## What Is the JDA Master Plan?
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) Master Plan 2025 is the official roadmap showing how Jaipur will expand and develop—where housing, business, industry, forests, and roads will be built. Think of it as a giant city blueprint to organize future growth, improve infrastructure, and manage land use efficiently[1].
## Key Elements of the Master Plan—Explained Simply
- **Zones**: Jaipur is divided into residential (housing), commercial (shops/offices), industrial (factories), special economic zones (SEZs), eco/forest areas, institutional (schools/hospitals), and recreation (parks).
- **Infrastructure Projects**:
- *Ring Roads*: New highways looping around the city for faster travel.
- *Widened Roads*: Making existing roads bigger to handle more traffic.
- *Metro*: The Metro Phase I, focusing on urban transport.
- *Transit-Oriented Development (TOD)*: High-value land use near metro/bus/rail stations for easy residential and commercial access.
- **Growth Areas**:
- Prithvi Raj Nagar, Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar, and newly planned corridors around SEZs and metro lines.
## Resources & Opportunities for Small Investors
### **Low-Cost, High-Potential Bets ("Easy Money"—But With Risks)**
- **Buy Land Near Planned Roads or Metro Lines**
Land values often rise when close to future infrastructure. If you can buy today (even in the "grey"), prices typically shoot up after announcements[1].
- **Small Commercial Spaces in Expanding Suburbs**
Shops/offices in new residential townships will have growing demand as populations increase.
- **Flats or Plots in JDA-Approved (or Soon-to-be-Approved) Townships**
Legal properties closest to the city, especially near new roads, tend to appreciate the most.
### **Invalid/Grey–High-Risk But High-Return (NOT Endorsement—Just Facts)**
- **Speculative Buying in Agricultural/Falling Zones**
Buying farm land at the edge of the building zone and betting it will be converted, though this is risky and often illegal.
- **Unofficial Plots or Colonies**
Some buy cheap in unauthorized colonies, expecting regularization later. Officials may eventually legalize them, but it's a gamble and comes with risk of demolition or penalties.
- **Buying in Ecological/Government Reserve Areas "on paper"**
Sellers may pitch these as "inevitable conversions." This is often false—such areas rarely get legalized, and investments often get stuck.
## Patterns, Antipatterns, and Street Smarts
### **Patterns (What Works for Most Small Investors)**
- Buy before government infrastructure (‘pre-announcement’ phase).
- Focus on areas near planned metro routes, ring roads, or major highways.
- Choose JDA-approved layouts to minimize legal risk.
- Partner with locals or brokers who deeply know which farm plots are “likely to be regularized.”
- Diversify: Mix legal property with a small “speculative” bet for higher gains (if you understand the risk).
### **Antipatterns (What Usually Backfires—But Is Still Common)**
- Blindly trusting “hot tips” or word-of-mouth without verifying actual land use zoning.
- Investing in government reserved or ecological land, believing political changes will flip bans.
- Buying into colonies with zero chance of getting basic utilities or registry in the foreseeable future.
- Overleveraging yourself and being stuck when regulations suddenly tighten.
## No-Nonsense Recommendations
- **Best for Easy Legal Money**:
Invest along the new ring road belt, especially in upcoming corridors, or in townships close to new metro or industrial zones[1].
- **"Grey Area" Fast Money (But Not Advised)**:
Buy unofficial land near soon-to-be-developed zones, then sell upon rumors of notification/regularization—works only if you have high-risk appetite and strong local intel.
- **Stay Clear Of**:
Reserved, green, or waterbody zones, and areas with ongoing or threatened demolition drives.
- **Tools You Can Use**:
- JDA Master Plan maps for zone checks.
- Online portals listing JDA-approved projects and legal status checkers.
## Final Word
Jaipur’s growth means real estate and small-ticket investments offer real chances to multiply your capital. However, every “gray” opportunity comes with matching risk: government crackdowns, sudden legal changes, and loss of initial money.
- For most, combining one safe, JDA-approved investment with any risky move is the smart play—never go all-in on speculation.
With sharp research and the right timing, the JDA Master Plan can be your ticket to strong returns. Just remember: what seems “easy” money often comes with strings attached[1].

I was randomly checking about vande bharat sleeper trainsets, and encountered the official website of the Kinet Railway Solutions,
https://kinet.co.in/#rec659989973
Kinet is a JV between RVNL and russian company TMH. For 200 vande bharat sleepers, Kinet is going to manufacture 120 trainsets with more or less 1920 coaches over next 3 to 4 years.
Based on news, new trainsets from Rail coach factory at Latur, Maharashtra will rollout vande bharat by 2026 mid.
https://swarajyamag.com/news-brief/vande-bharat-sleeper-express-from-latur-factory-with-16-coaches-160-kmph-speed-to-roll-out-by-june-next-year-report
There have been total 210 vande bharat sleeper on order,
>10 to ICF Chennai which subcontracted it to BEML
1 prototype is already being tested and validated.
>120 to Kinet
>80 to Titagarh Wagons and BHEML
These will be all ac trains, with 3rd ac, 2nd ac and 1st ac trainsets. 3 toilets per coach, 1 pantry. Inside of the train is pretty big upgrade compared to current trains.
It will have operational speed of 160kmph with peak speed of 180kmph.
There's also aluminum version in plans, 200 of those but last tender which Alstom won was shelved. Hopefully we will see it soon. Aluminum trainsets can easily reach operational speed of 180kmph with peak upto 220kmph (personal opinion based on certain information - which has been implied).
We might see regular run of BEML / ICF based VB sleeper this year itself though.

Shit like these are backed by politicians and nothing happens and same guys complain why nothing ever happens. If action is taken the same guys will start their vote jjihad.

> A UAE company has proposed a 1,000 kmph underwater rail link between Dubai and Mumbai, aiming to cut passenger travel and cargo transport time to just 2 hours.
How retarded is this?
High speed railway over 500km is not competitive to airlines. Are they grifting?

>literally a mountain of trash for 70 years
>now a mini forest with a ₹150 Cr Bio-CNG plant
> biggest Bio-CNG plant in South Asia
>processes 550 tonnes of waste daily
>produces 19 tonnes of CNG per day
>400 city buses run on this fuel
> garbage collectors separate wet & dry waste from every house
>but then mix it again before sending it to energy plants (??? okay)
>still miles ahead of other cities
> 8,500 safai mitras working in 3 shifts
>850+ vehicles collecting waste daily
>Indoris actually care about waste segregation
>mostly women staff doing final separation
> result: cleanest city in India, 7 years straight
>other cities still struggling with basic waste management
what's stopping other cities from doing this?
