The thing is Muay Thai evolved a lot from mediaeval times and still continues to evolve. Musthi yuddha never evolved. I've been to a few Akhada's myself and they refused to even teach wrestling regularly let alone musthi yuddha. They act like musthi yuddha is some kind of divine martial arts and can only be taught to a select few.
But the striking style used by Musthi yuddha is completely outdated. You put a modern boxer in front of someone who does Musthi yuddha, he will take his head off. But Indians refused to learn and adapt.
Also the British banned these martial arts

Mix of good and bad anon tbh. I like the exercises they do and there's a lot of good they do in Akhada's but they also spend so much of their time shitting on people who go the gym and they refuse to adapt and evolve. They practice outdated techniques but refuse to learn just to preserve tradition
