Yep, Quick made rough direct routes - this is just about start and end point. There's more detailed route somewhere.

Below the vindhyas are seeing dominance. I wish HSR in north extended till punjab. Delhi-Punjab-J&K is suitable route.

If we see current approved routes it's BJP ruled states or states which usually can sort out the land acquisition with good economy in general.

Siliguru getting approval before varanasi-kolkata gives a hint about internal calculus of BJP on the wb elections - not looking good.

Maybe in future as an extension - likely.

Kerala already saw approval of rrts by central government and recently saw a report on SHSR type corridor running from north to south.
