i have also experienced the same issue with linux, where the internet speed is approx 30% slower.

Yep i just solved the problem

By changing the dns config to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8

And installing a suitable wifi driver from aur

Apparently the driver which I currently had for wifi is proprietary hence its not working properly
