It was literally a bunch of neurons firing in my brain and nothing should technically be able to detect that. And before you ask no I didn't search for it before since I didn't even know what it was called before it popped up in my feed. It still could be chalked up as some coincidence though because there were a few other movie clips in the feed which I had watched previously. But still how did the algo decide to recommend me that specific scene exactly after I thought about it?

oh yeah this thing definitely happened to me at least 5-6 times over the years. every time it left me equally shocked.
i was thinking about how i haven't really heard xyz song in years. i wasn't even listening to the song/band or anything remotely related to it. neither did i discuss it with anyone. and bam! it was there when i launched youtube. unreal.
