Today, a coworker asked me for advise regarding an ongoing situation wherein he has caught his wife red handed having an affair.
The wife's boyfriend is also a married man with 2 kids who runs a parchoon ki dukan next to the house of my coworker.
My coworker also has 2 kids. Son is in class 10th and daughter in 12th.
He told me that for the last few days, his wife was coming home late and was not making food for their kids. Upon being asked about her unusual change in behaviour, she told him that she has made a new "friend" and she is spending time with the said friend these days because she gets bored sitting at home all day while the husband is at work and the kids are at school. He brushed it off, thinking she has made a new saheli. When this odd behaviour continued, he got suspicious and started monitoring his wife. Then one day, he read chats of this man and his wife on his wife's phone when she was taking a bath. The man was sending sexually suggestive WhatsApp messages to his wife, which I will refrain from reiterating here.
When he confronted her with this, this raand blamed the husband for "overthinking" and told him that this man was just a "friend" and both of them were just joking around in the chat. Then he narrated certain other events wherein he would pretend to sleep, while his wife was chatting with her lover while laying right next to him at 3 in the morning.
My advise to him was to file for divorce but he says he doesn't want to ruin his family and the future of their children. But nahi. Humko to hero banna hai. He thinks lundia is amreeka and wants to sue the wife's lover instead, for seducing her away from him. I mean, he can, but such cases are so rare that even judges hesitate to pass orders in them. Just use the traditional family court route and divorce her bhenchod why would you live with someone like her?

Yes, it's difficult if it's a contested divorce but it's extremely easy if it's based on mutual consent of both the parties yaar. I told him to convince his wife to leave him and just live with her so called lover by divorcing him but he is hellbent on suing the parchoonwala instead.
