They tend to be pretty simplistic. I like concept of living alone, paper walls do not bother me either. The idea of wooden interior and tatami based interior feels like comfort to me.

Agree with everything you said, though I do like outdoor kitchens a lot more than closed ones. It just seems better, feels better. Kitchens should be connected to an open space, where if one wishes food could be cooked out in open, that is unless it is railing or you wish to use electrical appliances.
