Do you like how Bharatiy suburbs look? I personally prefer to have it a bit unorganised like in the first picrel its by design picture perfect everything's all planned out to make it look prestine but that also makes it overly surreal and takes character out of the place

okay, then it is not suburb per se. Suburbs are awesome dude, wide roads, so wide that everyone can part their cars on the sides and still more than 2 lanes are available for other cars to go about their way. Then their is a pavement on which people can ride bicycles or skateboards or skates or just walk. Then there is a lawn in front of each house, grass everywhere, none of that dust flying because of the wind. then comes the house, at the side of which there is often lawn and free space. then there is the backyard where children can play and adults can sip wine and read books. Mind you, this all requires a lot of space. the plots are HUUUUGEEEEEE. And the roads are fucking wide. this all requires a lot of space. the closest you can do something like that is purchase a bigha or two and build a farmhouse there. But it will be just you. your neighbors won't be like that. Suburbia probably won't ever happen in lundia

yeah that is lack of foresight dude. can't the gormint see that 4 wheelers are only set to increase? just have a look at the width of lands that railways took over when the British first started rails here. In bumfuck nowhere areas where there was little to no population, they took over like 30 to 50 meters width of land. It must have looked so pointless. But 100-150 years later, now, they are proving useful because of double and quadruple laning of railroads.
I see so little land being acquired for highways, and they build 2 lane roads. Can't they see in 20 years all these will need to be 4 lane roads?
