idk saars, maybe it's just cuz my father is in railways and whole my life I have travelled on trains.

Of the times I can remember, I've been on a train thrice. And 2 of 3 of those rides were bad. If India improves their standards one day, I will go back. Until then, it's airplane unless no alternative for me.

I grew up living in railway colony, it had a central library of sorts near railway cricket stadium, I would spend entire summer holiday reading up picture books on railway history.

The Railway divisional office has an old steam engine on display, I once sat on it, funny thing is it is still functional.

There is also a heritage park, it has few old style coaches and a meter gauge engine on display.

Me and some of my friends would sneak in to yard and enter into train coaches all the time.
