That's your opinion, I guess. I found it to have a really strong hook, even in the first few chapters. It just flows. The transition from the comedians death to roses, with rorschachs monologue running alongside it just hooks you in, in chapter 2. Also, once you've finished it, and re-read it, it feels like a completely different book. Panels take on new meanings, the second time.

Read Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse.

It’s the only book which I love dearly from my heart. It’s like this LSD trip + philosophy + aesthetics. It’s my Bible.

It would be a good idea to know about jungian psychology before reading it or else you would think it’s just a surreal book with no meaning.

Also please only get the Penguin Modern Classics translation, other ones are shit
