Why do pajeets act like saying a country will look out for its own interests is a great insight? That applies to literally every single country on Earth. The difference is, they understand optics. Americans dont say that they invaded the middle east for their own interests, they say they did it for freedom and democracy. But lundians dont know how, or just dont care, to craft a narrative that will make India sound like its on the right side thereby building up soft power...
Basically, we are tactless and say the quiet part out loud, which is disadvantageous.
