What do you think of this conspiracy theory about the partition?

The theory is that the official narrative of Indian independence is just a facade. Its just a project by the North Indian, upper-caste, Hindustani Brahmin-Baniya (BB) elite to seize absolute control of the Indian state. The goal is to transition power from the British to themselves, creating a strong, centralized state run from their heartland in Delhi. One example of how they coordinate even after independence-Delhi brahmins brought in the Freight Equalization Policy to benefit baniyas in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
The two biggest rivals to the BBs were the Muslim elite (led by the Muslim League), and the powerful, cross-religious regional elites of Bengal (Bhadralok) and Punjab (Unionist landowners), who posed direct leadership and structural challenges. The congress had a "Secret Alliance" with Jinnah and the Muslim League. The Partition was not a tragedy, but was a mutually beneficial Bargain between the two centralizing elites. The Deal was that the Muslim League elite gets Pakistan, where their dominance is absolute. The Congress BB elite gets a centralized India free from its most troublesome minority and its powerful regional rivals.
The Partition was a masterstroke that hit two birds with one stone. The Congress High Command's rejection of the 1946 Cabinet Mission Plan is proof. They chose a smaller, centralized India they could dominate over a larger, federal India where power would be shared with strong regional blocs.
The Outcome eliminated the Muslim League from Indian politics and simultaneously crippled the two most powerful regional rivals, clearing the path for the undisputed dominance of the Delhi-centric elite. The suspicious, conveniently timed deaths of Hayat Khan and Bose (there are shit tons of conspiracy theories about his death, and many suggest culpability of Nehru and the Indian state. Read about the declassified files from 2015, which showed that Indian Intelligence spied on his family decades after his supposed death) removed the final obstacles to this plan.
Funnily enough, this plan backfired for the Muslim league elites. They, the Muhajirs, got crushed by the Punjabi and Sindhi elites as they didn't have the same networks, wealth, cultural influence, etc as BBs did in India.

entire wealth of delhi is literally in hands of khatri (pakistani hindu migrants)
and brahmins are facing a never ending downfall since 1950
and half of the baniyas at the time of independence were poorer than dalits

Nope. Look at the richest people and the top politicans of India. 90% brahmins and baniyas. And brahmins are overrepresented in delhi. Like 15%. There was also a recent stat which showed that the top percentiles of wealth getting more and more concentrated in the hands of BB
Another misconception is, the BB elite doesnt refer to all BB. Just the cream of the crop. They will happily implement even 90% reservation, because they dont have to studycel for ips, ias or whatever to retain their wealth. They have direct access to power, and would happily throw the rest of the poor/middle class BB to the dogs, basically giving the obcs and dalits crumbs to retain their wealth. Rahul himself went to harvard, they have no need for iit/aiims through jee/neet.

This is true, i genuinely will never understand the anti baniya sentiment here unless it's a hormonal nanha jeet being edgy. They are one of very few communities which sort of build themself up with not much to start with. I know a lot of Khatri migrants myself that left pakistan with nothing and build a life with hard work alone.

None of what you said is true, the simple reason for Brahmins or Baniyas being overrepresented is their academic oriented culture. Bengali Bharaloks simply sided with communists, mallu intellectuals too.
