America is the Godfather of the Taliban

To what extent can America go to fulfill its interests?

Another major example of this is the Taliban in Afghanistan. In 1979, Soviet forces entered Afghanistan in support of the communist government. To defeat the Soviet Union, America provided training and weapons to local guerrilla fighters and students studying in Pakistani madrassas. Later, these Mujahideen seized power in Kabul. Today, the world knows them as the Taliban. This was also the period when Pakistan began nurturing Islamic terrorism, which it later used as a strategic tool against India. This ecosystem of terror is still strong in Pakistan and continues to launch attacks on India.
