should i follow a particular sheet if i am doing CP, or should i just keep solving problems rating wise from problemset since i am already following a sheet for dsa, so i will just be learning concepts from there and will keep solving on cf and moving on further. in 3rd year btw.

yara if you are not from tier 1/1.5/2 college then stop doing CP ASAP.

If you are from tier - 3 to tier 69 college range focus only on leetcode and its contests and do more in development.

Leetcode is more than enough TBH.

But if you are from any IIT/NIT/IIIT or some tier 1/1.5/2 then go for it.

Best way to prep : Do the medium ranges ques from leetcode and once you are comfortable move back to CF and solve with problem and rating tag. Try to solve problems rated +300 than your rating.

The more you struggle the more you gonna improve.

Talking about sheet stuff striver's sheet for CP is not worth it.

Go for either

https://www.asksenior.in/learn

or

https://www.tle-eliminators.com/cp-sheet

But remember one thing. All the peps you see having CM M Expert title most of them haven't followed any sheet.

Best way is to just attempt the contest and learn&practice the topics you felt you are not comfortable with.

Best of luck sirs :)

+ Do not cheat. EVER. NOT WORTH IT.

hmm, i am doing both leetcode(high priority) and cf but leetcode is on higher priority but eventually i want to go for faang through referrals. oh, btw my kalej is tier 3 but there companies like kpmg, servicenow, come here, not in same numbers as tier 1 kalej but yea, they do hire 1-3 when they come and all of them tell me to be good at dsa and ig also they ask about projects, i was thinking of starting spring boot and dropping react/mern altogether. will start springboot in january when i am done with dsa sheet.

btw, adobe came to my college for interns and hired like 5-6 students and they say OA was quite hard for it, someone i know who is 1600 rating on cf cleared it. tbh, i think i have time to do till placements start, also few others who got into google and other good companies was also doing CP.

yup absolutely agree.

In your case your college is better than other tear 69. So yes try to get better in CP. It will eventually improve the chances of clearing OAs since they are notoriously hard than normal interview rounds.

And dont wait to start springboot after you are done with DSA sheet.

Just go for it. DSA is a rabbit hole with no ending mitr.

But you have time to fail and learn so yes go for it and constantly try to get consult with seniors. They can guide you better than a bhach user(me).

yeah best of luck yara,

I also went to ICPC kanpur in my 6th sem with my class mates :)

Its always a fun experience.

I fear how ICPC will be conducted these years because AI now-a-days can easily solve few of the problems.

But that's headache of their.

Best of luck to you :)
