I have no idea how the (((stock))) market works so I've decided to just buy index funds and etfs. I honestly don't even know the difference between an index fund and an ETF.
Am I gonna make it?

Index fund can be a mutual fund or etf, it comes under passive investment, meaning manager doesn't need to make any decisions, he will just mirror the index(50,100,500 stocks etc)
ETF is just a mechanism for trading different types of funds, it can be active or passive, only thing being it can be traded on the market, mutual funds on the other hand work a bit differently and can't be directly sold on the market, they need to be redeemed/bought via request to the asset management company.
Good choice investing in index funds, Idk if it makes sense to invest in motilal nasdaq tho since it is trading at a heavy premium to it's actual underlying value and no new units can be created, use this for reference

Good strategy, just be consistent and you will end up with a lot of money
However I was just explaining why it was jewed so you can refer this for other ETFs
