I considered doing that, but it's not like they can help me exactly. My parents are relatively poor. I beat myself up over sending this money to them but i was afraid if that would have put them in risk for debit fraud or something. Guess that did not work out well.

You are right, I should talk to some friends. I do not know what to do. Truth be told I have sent them many mails, and gave countless calls, I can not afford to take a flight. I know anon, I know, I have been cursing myself for not keeping atleast 1lakh in net amount in my locker. I live alone and I was scared. I have never had a problem like this. I could have never seen something like this happening to me. I was in denial for a week over this. Why did they have to freeze my entire account over a measly 2.5K? That would still sort of require me to visit them in Karnataka, is their a way I can do it via mail or by calling? It's not that I am opposed to make the trip, it's just financially burdensome untill my account was unfrozen, or I could make trips back and forth multiple times.

Just look up the district court's website yourself yaar. Search the police station. Check the area in which it falls. Then go to the district court's website. There you'll find DLSA and list of counsels who do pro-bono work. That's how it works in my state. Can't be too different for Karnataka.
