Dayush beat me in website speed by fixing cloudflare cache.
I was beat. I lost the major advantage : speed.
I cried at sleep.
Then I picked myself up and determined to beat him again.
Now I'm proud to say that I have officially beat this website in speed AGAIN.

My stack :
Nginx -> Express -> Nunjucks -> Sqlite
Kept it pure. Nothing extra. No trackers. No wasteful bytes of data. No cpu cycles wasted to stupid animations. Squeezed everything out of the hardware. I can do more and I will.
And not JUST SPEED
I have made it DDOS resistant.
My website can handle 100x the traffic of this website without breaking.
Yes , I'm happy about it and yes you should know it.

I guess you are synchronously handling file thumbnail generation and stuff during post creation.
I have asynced that stuff. So I write a post in db and return the response.
Made my own simple async image thumbnail / image sanitizer.
Very fast that way.
