my computer usage has increased threefold ever since i finally started learning programming.
i wanna give CDS and become an IAF pilot, but they don't even allow 0.00000000001 myopia.
everybody in my family has glasses. how do i take care of my eyes and prevent glasses ? i'm afraid my astigmatism has already crossed the accepted limit in the flying branch(1.5D).

just C for now. i don't plan to do much webshitting, if any at all. after C i'm going straight to DSA, then probably LC or CF.
the only "framework" i'll be learning is the one i HAVE to for passing the "App Development" course of my kalej.

Astigmatism and Myopia isn't the same thing. There is nothing you can do because the issue is with the length/shape itself.
If you are serious you should find out what the IAF actually requires , then go to an eye doctor = ophtalmologist (dont go to an optometrist or an optician they can't do all tests) , and make him do a dry and wet refraction test. Just tell him you want to join the IAF and need to do that.
It's actually not expensive to do the tests and fairly easy. Cost should be around 2-3k INR afaik.
Check out the image... In astigmatism the issue is the shape of the cornea or the lens - there should be no axis at which the curvature changes , in astigmatism there are 2 or more
Usually in astigmatism the corneal part is shaped irregularly. The way to fix this is by removing parts of the stroma (in all procedures), which is the thick part of the cornea.
The only difference in the procedures is how the stroma (thick part of the cornea) is reached.. You can cut the outer layer open (then reattach it = LASIK), remove it completely (and let it regrow = PRK), or make a very small hole (= SMILE) to reach it. Then you remove Stroma to reshape the cornea.
Issue with LASIK is the flap. Issue with PRK is the regrowth process can go wrong. Issue with SMILE is its overly complicated and can go wrong.
Issue with all 3 is , that you are removing Stroma of the cornea and it doesn't regrow.
Anyway testing comes first , and if you have issues I suggest finding another dream in this life like privately flying a plane or going for another role within IAF.
flying in the IAF is probably harder than becoming a NBA basket ball player, you wouldn't be mad about not being 2 m tall
