I’ve made quite a few posts about life and how things are. I joke as to how annoying blogposting is but you lot seem to engage well with it. It’s really sweet to see it.
For about the past 6 months Ive been doing better, probably closing in on a much better mental, physical and social experience than I ever was (although Ive been fine before too)
Recently however maybe past 2 weeks or so I noticed something, very small and stupid but a strong effect on me. I started showering later in the night around 10, rather than doing it right as I wake up.
Now, I mostly used to wake up about 30 minutes before my classes and day begins, its hectic and I can barely get a shower in, so everything's rushed, I never realized how much im losing out on though. Showering at night I started listening to music during the shower, which makes the whole experience pleasant, something to look forward to, and I also started maintaining my hair quite well, hairloss had already become negligible but now my hair gets curly and wavy due to the treatments and air drying I do.
Since I get to manage myself, my hair and my body well, I wake up next day smelling great, and add perfume, I just sort my hair and since showering late at night makes me sleepy this has allowed more time for the gym, and other morning activities.
But something much more peculiar has happened, showering early causes some sort of a wish to keep my room clean, my desk neat and closet arranged, I had to drudge through a large arrangement a while back but im maintaining it all quite well, I dont know why, I guess the feelings I get when I shower early open me up to the possibility of doing these tasks, and I did these all after a long days work.
Nowadays my room is clean, Im clean and organised, this leads me to be more productive, this is the first time Ive taken a task list seriously.
I think overall Ive somehow found a way to train consciousness, giving myself that headstart for the day and removing the dread of the morning shower, letting me ease into my night and quick into my morning has fixed mostly all sort of routine issues.
I want to see how far it goes and how much I can keep it all up.
So far ive fixed
1. Sleep
2. Showering and morning routine
3. Not missing requirements due to oversleeping
4. Gym has become more consistent
I want to now focus on the gym, that would really make all of this so much better, and with the gym comes a better diet too. Quite pleased with everything and ready for better
