Who did it better?
My verdict:
Mallus had top notch melody that had sad vibe even with happy music, top notch dance & excellent cinematography.
Dumeels had bombastic music(in a good way), over the top extra effects, violence, thot patrolling, matrix tier animations and of course: LAKALAKALAKALAKALAKALAKA
Naarthies had it mid in everything, except for the excellent vibe. It could be so because the bar was already high to reach in other areas, but the vibe was as good as the mallu version, if not a teeny tiny bit better.
I love the mallu dance, dumeel music and overall vibe of naarthie version, but I think the mallu version nailed it overall

Watched all three now, here is my opinion:
Smellus have better choreography, Dumeels have better composition, and Bullawood has the better set.

so is their music. Chitra nailed it with her asha bhosle X latha mangeshkar tier voice and so did jesudas, but the male part of the song occupies less time compared to the female part so he doesn't get much credits

nah, i didn't like either of those two soythie pretentious slops. akshay kumar did an amazing job with his character (even better than mohanlal or rajinikanth). it was also directed by priyadarshan back then, which made it the best horror comedy kino to ever come out. the songs were great too. it's a masterpiece in every way
