Whoever wrote or approved descriptions like this to define an entire community through caste prejudice is fucking disgusting. Imagine reducing real people, with families, skills, and dignity, to labels like "low status" or "undesirable." The only thing low here is the mindset that created this caste garbage in the first place. The people who invented and enforced this hierarchy are the real filth, not the ones they tried to step on.

I mean, these kinds of people existed in every society and were treated as inferior. For example, executioners were prohibited from entering any church, were forced to live away from everyone else, and their children were discriminated against and often destined to become executioners themselves. The same applied to manual scavengers. Give it time things have already improved a lot.
