Black/Brown races in general have done more inbreeding(Southies, Africans, Arabs, etc...) so already in a worse off position. Besides darker skin tone means more tanned which ruins skin health and ages you faster(inb4 the cope but saar in West where temperatures are 30 degree max on average tanning is seen good saar, first of all their sun rays aren't as harmful and even they put sunscreen when tanning).
Then there's aesthetic reasons, darker skin looks bad in photos because your features are less defined and visible but that's more an issue of lighting.

Essentially, depending on your haplogroup. The term caucasian itself is a meme term that sort of rounds up anyone from Ireland to Gopniks. But anyone with IVC or Steppe based haplo would be a Caucasian (in modern context) with little bit of melanin in them.
