It seems like the gravy train ended in 2023 as most complaining is from 2024 freshers. People still get IT jobs and you have the yearly 20+ lpa fresher salaries ads from colleges but it seems like it's only good for the cream of the crop freshers and experiencefags. If you're average you're in bad luck now.

likely some startup that just looked at YOE as mnc's definitely look at previous comp and try to lowball and if he was some genius it would not have taken 10 years to get to 26
I know thoughtspot ( startup ) does it, pays around ~25 to 30ish in cash and rest if esops ( worthless for unlisted startup ) inflated all the way up to 80
right now, I don't really think it's possible unless he was good which given the progression is doubtful
