I don't know if it is soul crushing, but Sinners came out recently. It is a pretty good movie. Also it is nice to see a Vaishya here. I thought Vaishya Varnas were a matter of legend and lores alone.

Not exactly anon, Baniya comes from Vaniya which comes from Vaishya. Teli is not the same in every case, even if their is an over lap. A good example of this would be Shanivar Teli, as they are jewish and not even hindu, let alone Bania.

Teli is an occupational term, as it is common for all castes in Maharastra. You could be Dwija and non Dwija alike and have certain names that's may not align with your Varna.
