I feel like in india there are so many social groups divided based on ethnicity, language, religion, caste, region, social status, financial status, etc that this country ends up in a brownian motion and the net result is nil.
If there is one group ogoing one way, there is an equal pull they other way and we end up back to square one.
People here dont prioritize the growth of the nation. They only look after themselves and their immediate kin. This often times comes at a cost to the overall society.
Some examples
>you go to a maternity clinic, the doctor scams you and gives you a c section for no reason other than profiteering
>you try to build infrastructure, tender politics and bribes come in and development goes for a toss
>you try to keep the surroundings clean, someone else shits up the area with garbage again once its cleaned
>you try to explain to your parents what whey protein is, but they have watched gazillion reels of ayurvedic satvik doctors and they think they know better
>you try to help your friends or extended family, you give them an inch and they take a mile
>you try to get a good college but your efforts are shitted by gormint who gives free reservation
>you apply for jaab and company shits on your resume and hires sundar stree instead
why is it that whenever you try to do something, your plans are shitted by these 80 IQ demons who are opposing you just for the sake of opposing you without any reason. why cant everyone just sit down and address the issues and make a consistent coherent plan to deal with a problem.
meanwhile in china, since its a single race, single culture country (with few exceptions), almost all people work for the greater good. yes they prioritize themselves, but not at the cost of the nation. they are slowly drifting towards a common ideal, unlike us where every group is out to get every other group
