I recently shifted to a new building. The move went smoothly, and the building seemed nice enough. For the first few days, everything was normal. I'd see neighbors in the hallway, exchange polite nods, the usual stuff. But today, everything changed. I learned that the family living in the flat directly below mine is Brahmin. Apparently, they were deeply offended by the fact that a Dalit person lives above them. I didn't even know this was an issue until it exploded in my face today. It started in the corridor. I was passing by when I saw their son. Being polite, I greeted him with a nod. Instead of greeting me back like a normal person, he responded with a casteist slur. Just like that. No provocation, no prior argument, nothing. I was stunned, couldn't even process what had just happened. When I finally gathered myself and protested, asking him why he would say something like that and trying to reason with him, things only got worse. His mother came out and immediately joined in. She started shouting at me too, adding her own slurs to the mix. The two of them were screaming at me in the middle of the corridor, their faces twisted with hatred. The father and daughter were there as well, just standing and watching, but neither of them said a word to stop it. They just let it happen. The argument escalated quickly. People from both sides got involved, voices getting louder, the situation spiraling. Neighbors opened their doors, some stepped out to watch the spectacle, but not a single person intervened to help or calm things down. They just stood there, silent witnesses to the whole thing. The humiliation of standing there, being screamed at with those slurs, being reduced to nothing but my caste in front of all these people - I can't even describe how it felt. The anger, the hurt, the sheer disbelief that this was actually happening. I thought we'd moved past this kind of medieval thinking, but clearly, some people are still stuck in the past. After it was over, I knew I couldn't just let this go. I decided to take action. I went and filed a complaint against the son and mother under the SC/ST Act. I don't know what will come of it, how long the legal process will take, or what the outcome will be. But I had to do something. I had to take a stand and show them that this kind of behavior has consequences.

I will not go into the history, but i will take one point from where it all started, this is how it has unfolded. BJP consolidated hindus under the hindutva umbrella, development and corruption aside. One of the factor was using the us vs them theatrics viz a viz muslims. No movement succeeds just on the sole issue of othering, bjp did a great job of selling the umbrella of hindutva to which most hindus felt belonging and comfortable with - it was not solely due to differences with islam or muslims but it had a role to play yes. And eventually BJP succeeded in equating hindutva with average hindu. This phase had almost decades of slow building leading to eventual success and rapid rise from 2014 to probably peaking around 2022. Congress or opposition no matter what they tried it was bound to end in failure. So they backtracked and decided it was a bad idea. That's when the project - **HT-BG-RK-LK** under the guidance of 'people to people' communication of USA started. Idea was pretty simple, it became impossible to attack Modi or Hindutva without it being completely taken as attack on India or Hindus. So they decided the route of divide and conquer, of course they were the expert in that and pioneer of it but success only came when the hands of americans blessed them. Another issue was that at one side there was Modi and hindutva, other side there was rahul and congress the stark contrast in their perception was enough that attack mounted from this angle was bound to fail. For time being these attacks were merely just symbolic and they knew served no purpose other than just to be persistant. The real attack was the buildup, it had actually not started in 2019 or 2022 or 2024, it went back to even before 2014 when the UPA government specifically high command of the congress knew it was bound to fail so they ensured that they had proliferated different power groups in each sector. Eventually these power groups facilitated the rise of separate individuals, vectors of attack through IT cells etc. But they cloaked themselves - some of them presented as certain caste supremacists, some as regionalists, some as linguistic groups. They tried to expand their extent of control while ensuring there's no directly link or conflict with their main vector. Idea here was this, BJP and Hindutva, Modi, which had become pan India leaders and accommodating every group under the Hindutva / NDA umbrella that was the easiest way to utilize and turn against themselves. Benefit here was that everywhere if BJP is accommodating Biharis, congress or what became I.N.D.I.A bloc could trigger their political groups from other states to hit on BJP. This fight now became a **monolithic party** versus a very **decentralized and rejuvenated** political group. Over the time, a snapshot can be taken to get an idea of various groups which were employed, following comes into the picture >Hindu trads >Bheem Groups >Regionalist kangers >Linguistic Kangers >Religious groups - Muslims >Even social classes Idea was simple that every time BJP had to appease one group, decentralized fanged were to be raised and that if agitated enough would slowly crumble the nationwide coalition build by BJP over shared link of hindutva or other aspects. This is the idea, BJP and Hindutva utilized the underlining links of Hindus throughout India, a north indian can visit a hanuman temple in south thousand of kilometer away and feel the link or a south indian in varanasi. India is a complex country, all of us share a bond based on our society, our languages, shared history and religion. One can utilize these to create a political behemoth while at the same time one can utilize our differences to create the chaos. BJP tried to unite people through these shared links going as far as hinduism - because the differences with other non-dharmic religion are too vast that compromises were mostly made by hindus which didn't benefit them. Congress had to do something so they decided to utilize the underlining differences to break the bond of hindutva, propping up caste groups - these are cycles btw. A trad hindu bemoaning and dehumanizing other hindus will lead to further cycle of other varnas getting radicalized at the end the hatred would be so vast that the bond of hindutva won't be able to hold and we are not witnessing this in action. Hindutva was a compromise for every group, it provided the hope to some non-dwija that it's lame to bother about old atrocity literature and unite for better future. It also lead to situation where lots of dwijas loathed anything which signalled 'superiority' over their non-dwija brethern. Every one was compromising to unite under this umbreall, not just based on varna but there can be said about language, regions so on. Ideally for any nation to succeed or nation like India with such complexity we will have to make these compromises to unite and become a stable force - it's reasonable logical thing to do. But with the threat of HT-BG-RK-LK, the chaos created is slowly withering away the force of Hindutva. it was bound to happen as a counter action by congress and how hindutva handles is remain to be seen. First mistake of NDA or BJP so far has been not addressing this issue and lapping up the prospects or political discourse from opposition and currently in the state of defense and no thought process of the future. And there's no doubt that IN-C is currently gonna double down seed the ideas of differences, utilizing trads, kangers of region, linguistic groups to create more chaos. Social media algorithms are primed for ragebait are only making it easier for them to do so. It's for hindus to realize that the extremism over caste needs purge, there's no iffs and butts about it. Both trad and non-dwijas need to understand that some group is trying to use them and pushing them to commit political suicide over perceived victim narratives. In all these times, imho BJP should be pushing harder to make hindus and dharmic religion followers understand the value of pic related. How one can carry on the bond of hindutva while also caring about their own community. It's very difficult for most but if they succeed in this their project of 2047 is unstoppable.
