Study the work of artist like otomo, mignola, sparth, syd mead, yoshitaka amano, moebius, yoji shinkawa
Build a visual library of mechanical stuff, for this you can check military design

Don't focus on artstyle you will develop your own based on your taste and the stuff that inspires you
