If you ask anons here about their caste, they’ll claim to be savarna like Brahmin, Rajput, or Baniya. I have never seen a Yadav, Kurmi, or Koli here. But if we look at the caste census, their population in India would only be around 30% or even less. ~50% of India’s population is OBC. What does this mean?
Does this mean than most anons here are lying like how every other anon here claims to be 6ft+, but only ~1% of Indians actually are.
Or does this could mean they’re truly ignorant and don’t know their real caste. Are people faking their surnames to claim savarna status and diluting the caste system?
