The unchecked inflation under UPA lead to a situation where NDA had to course correct. It was under NDA when inflation was reduced to be around 4% ~ (+2%).
Entire 2020s has been nothing but one disaster after another, covid then russ-ukr war, then middle east crisis. Then whole american pushed inflation post covid, etc. Most government fell post covid due to the mismanagement somehow NDA prevailed.
The 10 years, golden years, wasted by UPA with literally inflation backed 'growth' with any major reforms mean that NDA had to start everything from scratch. Modi government shouldn't be the one who should be working around to establish textile PLI etc. in various states it should have been done earlier. PLI should have been implemented earlier. The fact that even as basic as infrastructure growth or reforms lagged during UPA means everything needs to be done here.

I already put out the case for normal tier 3 that even if you started almost half a decade ago you would still be able to afford these basic things. Irrespective of how the economy has been.
Even now the basics things are being changed, reformed slowly. Few things which can improve the job situation, salary situations are reforms,

I would rather automate a shitty job than make anyone work in worse situation. And whatever jobs are remaining they should get good pay with great work life balance. Indians would revolt if things like labour reforms, land reforms are bought so here we are.
Still if you are someone had done like bachelor's etc. or probably well off enough to shitpost on imageboard most likely you would be alright - if put enough effort in next 10 to 15 years you could have decent life - kids, house, vehicle. Savings.
India is yet to kickstart its boom phase, all the puzzles are slowly being set around...we are there.

My gripe was this, basically remember that Tata plant in Chennai where workers were being pushed for 15k. In a way it is better than their existing jobs. They get flat, facility everything.
But is this what the end result is for manufacturing? Entire class of humans being treated as robots - slaves...just doesn't settle well with me. The excuse that you have to work in horrendous work life balance to justify being manufacturing power is not a good statement.
Probably things are way difficult to automate so need human labour but at certain point automation may get there. Tbh that and entire economics in a situation of sorta like soft post scarcity warps my brain - it can't function in vaccum - economy around the world can't work like that something will need to change....
So until we reach there idk..so this is where i do not know lots of situations we don't know where we might end up.
There are lots of government jobs which are vacant but not filled - currently - railway etc. But that is another set of reasons. Need separate discussion for that.

The biggest issue was full-shirt-pant-tie ITcel combo. The P.E. Uniform was only sanctioned on 2 outta 5-6 working days and it was the only bearable uniform. I remember that when I changed schools I ended up mostly wearing the P.E. Uniform. Also almost got sent back home for not wearing black shoes once . Stupid shit like this was probably a universal experience for people my age.
