kek, literal saas startups that IT bhungis think is super difficult to break into has success ratio of close to 5%. This is a field that is both super saturated and super difficult to innovate and has much better odds of success than blaaady lundPSC. Now imagine a non contested field that has limited entrepreneurial minds, with little to no competition. I'd bet the success ratio can easily be 15-20%, something 150-200x higher than blaady upsc cse . OP should adopt intense exam prep mindset, grindset & discipline, but just apply it in other areas rather wasting all that energy on a freaking govt exam that has little to no transferable skills. Even if he fails in lundia, he mcan pursue his dream of civil engineering abroad. The world needs more competent, high quality engineers not more corrupt bhangicrats

literally don't. Just learn it enough to help you with your civil engineering dreams. Have top notch grades in civil engineering course, try landing summer internships abroad or atleast at the top most places in India in an area that you may find interesting and leave this shithole asap and pursue higher studies in the west.

compensate in the upcoming semesters no matter what. Try landing top of the top rank if you can in GATE civil and use your top rank to gtfo of this shithole. Iirc, there are some certs like indian association of engineers that you can get, so look into it. If you've some arrears left, use that as an opportunity to boost your gpa and try to push it to atleast 7+, preferably 7.5+
