It's really good!!! As a carti fan since Magnolia put him on the scene I've loved carti's trajectory as an artist.

From his self titled EP which set so many standards and made everyone familiar to Pierre Bourne, to the grunge and abrasiveness in Die Lit, to the rage and polarizing at release Whole Lotta Red.

I can say these are the perfect albums for me since I wouldn't remove one song nor add another. As a teen I would Spend my vacations just having Die Lit on loop while crushing it in games like CS on PC and Clash Royale on phone. Then later I would have Have the Self titled EP and WLR on loop during pulling all nighters for College assignments the Energy it gave off was insane.

Post every Carti Era there have been so many Copycats that became popular like Cochise and later after WLR, the now 0pium artists like Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely etc

I don't think there's any other influential artist ever to set this sort of an impact over a genre of music without putting anything for 5 years.

Despite my strong stance against an artist's music being leaked before it's finished (for example Jay Paul). I absolutely love how the community based on few vocal leaks, snippets craft such immaculate pieces of adding their own production. One such guy was Danny Phantom creating Guitar remixes of carti's songs and I believe he too got signed up by his label.

It's been a really great time the following are my top WOAHHH moments listening to MUSIC:

1. Starting the album with like PS2 CD crash ahh vocals... love it can already see half the audience divided post this. If you really look at it it's JUMPOUTTHEHOUSE but with 0pium rage genre production

2. CRUSH was tooo good, the beat is so refreshing and love the choir background. The Travis Scott adlib "STRAIGHT UP" literally made my jaw drop WOAHHHH we're getting Travis this early?!?!? Insane but was abit disappointed that it was just that only adlibs no proper verse. But the Straight Up part is peak.

3. K POP was alright I expected a Giselle or Chuu collab on this (follow kp0pium and kpopunderground on instagram)

4. EVIL JORDAN arghhh I hope the intro was better, the tiktok version was much much better rest it's a really good song but pales in comparison to the popular version. I don't mind the goofy ahh gun shot sound lol

5. MOJO JOJO I wasn't too hyped w the kendrick feature but the adlibs were rlly good.

6. Philly was aight sounded v similar to his recent verse on 4x4. Carti comes of as a chilling beast on this though... "DIAMONDS ALL OVER MY BODY"

7. RADAR Intro goes sooo hard, the alien UFO sounds too tuff. His music is truly a gift

8. We got a song called Fine Shyt lmfao it's good the sample is rlly well crafted to make this "Fell in Luv" type soft song.

8. Backdoor is aight felt like a Kendrick and SZA song but it's Jhene Aiko?? okay

9. TOXIC goes hard love Skepta even on Die Lit he didn't disappoint. Carti literally sounds like Future on here. As a gymbro I head "I got too much pro-fit" as "I got too much body fat" and fuel my body dysmorphia.

10. MUMYUN TOO TUFF SWAMP ISSO!!! I AM MUSIC closest to any carti leaks flow we getting officially.

11. Insane I was able to know the SpaceGhost Purp sample, its good

12. CHARGE THEM HOES A FEE TOO GOOD - Future's hook and Travis' verse blend in rlly well

13. GOOD CREDIT only good Kendrick song on here. His rap verse is probably the top 5 on this cut. Beat compliments it well

14. I SEEEEE YOU BABY BOI - Another pallette cleanser felt alot like a Bladee song but it was aight

15. WAKE UP F1LTHY - The beat is such a blackhole timeloop it's v dark

16. JUMPIN got me JUMPIN as sooon as I heard Uzi vocals I USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THISSSS 16 29 was my ATM Pin for the longest time. PINK TAPE PINK TAPE PINK TAPE!!!(which also was a rlly great album)

Post this album wasn't too exciting js perhaps HBA but I liked Hoodbyair or Tundra title much more. Rather Lie w Weekend was also neat but lacks substance, Timeless is objectively better, but I just can't get over Carti's walk like this verse.

This is by no means a top album by carti, but I can't stop listening to it either because the songs take a whole while to grow on you compared to even WLR. Would I skip/hide songs on this album? Definitely yes

Could Carti mix and master this much better? Hell yes the versions I see on youtube or spotify are leagues better.

I expected atleast one DannyPhantom Guitar remix on a hook.

Overall, I'm not too disappointed but the album has no where reached or crossed the ceiling... for which it had the potential too.

7-8/10 At best. The biggest flaw of the album is it's runtime and not being able to retain the listener throughout.

My Previous ratings

Self Titled EP - 9.8/10 (some songs transcend 10/10 scale rest are abit like 9 so avging that)

Die Lit - 10/10

WLR - 11/10 (for Carti's risk appetite and featuring the artists he was inspired from like Kanye, Cudi and Future... moving from a trapstar to a unhinged rockstar)
