Usha in the Vedas is the goddess of dawn, symbolizing light, awakening, and beauty. Very different in tone and purpose from Kali, who represents destruction, time, and fierce power. This conception of Kali as “wrath of Purusha” is not Vedic in origin the Rigveda does not mention Kali as a goddess. She appears much later in Tantric and Puranic texts.

there’s no inscription, idol, or direct evidence linking it to the Kali of Hinduism. Claims that the same yantras were used are not academically confirmed those are modern tantric overlays, not proven prehistoric practices. Theres no proof as such.
It was only Ramakrishna Paramahamsa who played a role in popularizing Kali worship among the middle and upper castes in the 19th century. Before kali was only popular among avarnas. Which could be seen even today. Even most matriarch indian states of bengals and east worship durga mainly and not kaali rup.
