Look at your screen time today, yesterday and the whole week
Cut half off of it and read something during that time
If you read on phone, keep screentime same but make sure half of it is the reader app

I don't think its a matter of time, I read pretty leisurely. When I was a child, I could read a few hundred pages in a day(granted, these were shitty books). Covid seems to have fucked with that.
I have a backlog of a few books now, (sickness unto death, either/or, maybe storm of steel) which will take me till this year end if I read at my pace every day it seems.

i guess not being addicted to social media and doom scrolling helps cause if you stop using those attention draining psyops you'll realize how much time you have

I tend to ruminate on books for a while now, they make me get up walk around and think. This is a mark of their quality, sure, but this is a detriment to me finishing them in a short time, the best books seem to make me want to consume them like a cow.
