And tho yes, the AL31 may offer better thrust the sheer weight will imbalance the Tejas which was redesigned to carry the 1 ton GE after Kaveri failed, you can't just change it now, to do so will need several more billions and several more years of development.

For starters if we have got Chinese, I will liberate the monasteries from CCP latch on and provide freedom to monks. I want them to feel a little bit indebted to Hindus.
