Contrary to what many think The Harappa Mohenjodaro - IVC was likely populated by middle eastern/ west Indian looking people and they were not muh dravidians or whatever.

Also caste system was IVC thing, this is in line will all other Bronze age civilisations present at that time - Egypt, Babylon etc.
