>I'm not religious But me wanting to commit suicide is making me think about the nature of our existence. There may be scientific explanation (evolution) for how we came to be but I still find it weird that such a specific phenomenon happened on this planet. The formation of life itself is unique and then on top of this unique phenomenon we have humans with sentience that causes unique happiness and suffering (psychological). We have not even found signs of simple life on other planets and that such a unlikely phenomenon exists feels weird to me. Maybe there's more to this or maybe I'm just rationalising my suffering.
