If you are naarthie, go for it. North west India salaries are really good and you can set up hospital without much competition if you are willing to live in small towns.
If you are southie, forget about it. Post MBBS doctor earns 30k-50k/month for 12 hours duty per day. PG doctor earns 1lakh/month.
Regardless of north or south you will not be earning as much as previous generation doctors because of market (supply went up without demand rising as much)

MBBS the new B.Tech.
MBBS is merely an eligibility requirement for NEET PG.
Government is establishing new colleges in every district.
Too much competition going forward.
